What to write about

Scale and weighting corrections (highest priority). Grade-point conventions are policy, not law — if your school’s published scale differs from what the calculator shows (an A+ worth 4.33, honors weighted a full point, a different pass mark), tell us the convention and where it’s published — district handbook, student handbook, school profile. We check every report against the source before changing a table.

Feature requests. A “repeat/grade-replacement” mode? Custom bump values? A cumulative view that imports last year’s transcript numbers? If the calculator is missing something you reach for when planning a semester, name it — the roadmap is driven by what students actually ask for.

Everything else. Broken pages, mobile layout glitches, accessibility issues, partnership requests. Please include the URL of the page you’re writing about and, for calculation problems, the numbers you entered and what you expected to see.

What to expect

We’re a small team and read every message. Corrections and bug reports are usually answered within a few days; general feedback may take longer. No ticket systems, no automated replies — a person reads and answers your email.

A note on “my school does it differently”

The most common mail we get is some version of “at my school, honors is worth a full point.” Both can be right — there is no national weighting standard, only conventions. If you’re reporting a disagreement, the most useful detail is where your policy is defined, so we can tell a real error from a legitimate local variation and document it properly.
